Well, I am uming that you are during the slave period. So I will go with that. Ok, the plantaition owners often need slaves. In order to have slaves, you need to have someone to keep them in line. To do this, you need someone who is either big and strong, or someone who is smart and evil. Also, you might want to have some up-to-date equipment for the slaves to use. You need to pick your most loyal of all the slaves to be your personal servants. Along with that, you need crops to grow all year round, to have enough money to support your self, family, and slaves. Those are not that great, but it is an idea.
