What do I do about my dog's bad behavior?!!!?

Ok well she is very well trained most of the time she listens to me when I give commands. But when she gets caught in the act of digging holes for example and she feels that I get mad she runs. Well when I get ahold of her and pop her on the nose, she gets mad? She starts getting in pounce position and running back and forth to me. I know she is a alpha female because she always has to be the boss and mean to other dogs but how do I punish her without her getting mad. Like she gets mad if she feels I am mad, sometimes I have to pretend Im happy just to get a hold of her to put her on the leash.
