How do you think this will play out? Step-son in trouble?

My 18 yr old step son, who we are estranged from has this going on: juvenile offense of entering the home of a wheel chair bound man with a group of boys and stealing from him, falsely accusing a man of ault, then falsely accusing a different man of ual ault. Adult (after 16) January, 09, breaking into 3 homes at Christmas with another boy, 3 misd stealing charges, 2 yrs supv probation, June, 09 Minor in possession of alcohol and possession of drug paraphernalia, 2 misd charges, 2 fines and re-start probation, losing the 6 months he had done, October, 09, apartment drug bust, possession of controlled substance, felony, he had yet to even pay off the fines from June, has preliminary hearing in January, 10 on it. Any ideas what will happen? May he finally be sent to the big house?
