HELP!! 10 points if you answer!!?

I have myasthenia gravis. It is a autoimmune disease. my doctor tried to tell me that my disease doesnt cause me to be sick so often. Does anyone have some more knowledge on this than me? Does myasthenia gravis weaken my immune system and make me more susceptible to illness. thanks for your help in advance. I'm 16 by the way
