How do I get video from my pv-gs12 panasonic camcorder to my PC. I have a mini usb to usb wire that dont work?

It's a MiniDV camcorder so you need to use firewire, not USB. If your PC hasn't already got one, firewire cards are cheap, easy to install and readily available.
