Restoring an old doll...?

I once called the Barbie hotline and asked them how to get the dolls hair back to its natural shine and they told me to use liquid fabric softener. Try some flea markets for the clothing. There is one here where they have lots of boxes of doll clothes. I once cleaned a dolls face with liquid bathtub cleaner with bleach. Maybe try it on the back of the neck and see if it works first. Be sure to wash it all off after you use it. The flea markets may have an old Kathy doll that may contain a voice box that works. Personally I would take it out and see what makes it tick. could be just a spring outa place or something simple. Good luck ,hope you can get her back in shape.
