What's the best thing to do?

Our apartment lease contract expires this coming Dec. 31st but my husband & I will move-out on Nov. 24, 2008 and he already talked to the apt. manager about it and she said we just have to give 30 days notice but since my husband's daughter/husband & son sharing with him for paying the apt. and he was been helping for long years (they can't afford of their own) making an issue against me and called me an evil stepmother even the fact i did not do anything wrong to them since i got here in America January this year and for being married for 4years now. Since my husband will stay pay half of the rent for Dec. even if we already moved-out, I heard my hypocrite step-daughter that seems they have plans against us for whatever reason. I heard her talking her friends & mother on the phone claiming what's theirs that we threw nor keep even the fact it's all my husband's and said about fire marshall that will be checking our room. We never make nor do in this apartment even once so i just want to make sure what's the best thing to do to block her/them from doing things against us so we can leave this apartment this coming Nov. 24 without any issues to be left.
