What kinda amp should i get for my 2 12" JL Audio w3v2's? ?

i have them in a Chrysler sebring an i was only using one when it blew my pioneer 760, so i got a Sony Explode 1000 an hooked one speaker up and it dims my lights so bad it looks like im flashing people with my high beams. if i get the necessary amount of power, would i still need to look into a capacitor??
