Why do Jews think they are superior to gentiles?

Jews think that they're special and so above anyone else really, even if they won't admit it, and they hate it when Jews get with gentiles, some Jews even go as far as to disown their own kids if they marry gentiles. They think they're better than gentiles and think their religion and everything about themselves is superior. Why do they ACCUSE other people of being racist or anti-semitic when they themselves are one of the most elitist arrogant people in the world?
