Can I divide my 10 gallon betta tank in half and make the other half a hospital tank?

well the problem here is that you will have to tear down the tank put a tight divide in the middle (gl or plexiglas and seal it with aquarium safe silicon), so the betta wont catch whatever the other fish is treated for or get affected by the meds, also having half an empty tank might be an eye sore, in addition cleaning the hospital zone might be a pain in the *** b/c of the other half being full
